St Cuthbert’s College
The MMFM team accompanied Sue and Tiff from Ronald McDonald house to St Cuthbert’s College for an assembly presentation.
It was a fantastic turnout at St Cuthberts, between 1000 and 1500 staff and pupils hearing the update of baby Eva, Tiff’s daughters progress at Ronald McDonald house followed by the journey and aspirations for the MMFM event this year.

Today’s presentation had a message to not only the students but to anyone who cares to listen. “Dream big, and back it with action!!!!!!”, You want to travel to the moon for your 21st birthday, then you do everything you can to get on that spaceship, you want to cure world starvation, then you best start learning how to cook on a massive scale You can do or be anything you want to be, nobody can stand in the way of your dreams and aspirations whatever they maybe, this is what we endeavoured to share during our visit.
Needless to say all the thunder was stolen by support cyclist Jimmy Barry’s solo of Amazing Grace, you had to be there, it was off the chart amazing! What a spine tingling voice, bucket loads of talent and confidence, Jimmy stole the hearts of not only the pupils and staff but reiterated to all what a truly special man Jimmy is.
Thanks to Cuthbert’s College for their warm welcome and allowing us to tell our story and special thanks to Sue and Tiff from RMHC, Uncle Stu for the last minute visual presentation and Benefitz for the stunning book markers printed off and presented within 24hrs notice.
